Leaking shower or Bath

The truth is that if installed correctly using waterproof up-stands and tanking (prior to tiling), shower trays and baths should be water tight before the joints are sealed with sealant. The sealant should be an extra finishing seal. This is not always the case as shower trays and baths are often installed without them and can leak if the sealant breaks or is compromised.

However, If you have a leak and the existing silicone is cut out, cleaned and new silicone is applied correctly, a good joint alone can last many years without any issues so get in touch if you need assistance. We will always take the time and care needed to ensure the best possible watertight seal and all our workmanship is guaranteed.
